Product Description and Uses

ATRIA Professional is a multi-purpose polymer-modified thin set mortar for the installation of tiles and stones in floor and walls. Polymers added to the mortar provide superior bond strength and adhesion. Also improves performance in a variety of environments and work areas. Offers economical solutions for residential and commercial jobs on both interiors and exteriors. Ideal for ceramic tiles, quarry tiles, glazed tiles, porcelain, mosaics, marble, granite and dimension stones. Meets and Exceeds ANSI A118.4 without the need for additives.

Appropriate Surfaces

ATRIA Professional can be used over surfaces properly prepared of cured concrete, cement mortar beds, bricks, dry gypsum boards (Interior), leveling coats and exterior grade plywood (For interior and residential or light commercial only). Surfaces must be dry and free of any dirt or material that may difficult the adherence of the mortar.

Coverage

Each 50 lbs. (23kg) bag will cover from 55 square feet (5.10-meter square) to 70 square feet (6.50-meter square) using a 1/4 x 1/4 x 1/4-inch (6 x 6 x 6 mm) trowel.

Drying

The minimum cure is achieved after 24 hours, depending on temperature and humidity. Grouting can be done after 24 hours.

Cleaning

Only water is needed to remove excess of uncured mortar and clean tools.

Storage

It can be stores free of humidity in its original package for up to 12 months. Do not let water to contact the product until time of use.

Limitations
ATRIA Professional should not be applied over asphalt coatings, surfaces covered with vinyl, wood, asbestos-cement plates, painted surfaces, metal, glass or plastic. It should be used in temperatures above 41 degrees Fahrenheit or 5 degrees Celsius. The adhesive must be protected from freezing for the first 72 hours. Do not use for applications where the material will be subject to water immersion. Additional preparation instructions may be found in the technical and safety data sheet.
